Using incremental localization
The incremental localization process for IXIA CCMS enables you to start the localization process without having all objects in the Authoring:done status or the equivalent status in your deployment.
In a "late" localization process, you localize when all the topics and images within a map and the map itself have reached Authoring:done. This approach means that you cannot send content for translation until late in the documentation cycle, which might leave you with not enough time for the translation to be finished.
If you prefer to localize content as it's completed—that is, as soon as an individual topic or image reaches Authoring:done—you can configure the CCMS to work this way. This approach is called incremental localization.
The incremental localization process is not a separate localization model. It is a variation on the sequential model in CCMS Desktop and the Unified Localization model in CCMS Web.
Incremental localization is not available within the concurrent localization model in CCMS Desktop.
