You can delete users who no longer need access to the CCMS.
Before you begin
Before deleting a user, remove all assignments for the user, and break any locks the
user has on any CCMS objects..
Procedure
-
Open the User Manager window
-
Click the
Lock button.
-
In the Users panel, right-click the user name and select
Delete User.
Expand the locations if necessary to find the user.
The user is deleted immediately, with no confirmation.
-
Click
Check In Document to commit your changes.
-
In a dedicated SaaS deployment, contact IXIA CCMS Customer Support to remove the
user from remote desktop.
If your deployment uses SSO and the user did not access CCMS Desktop, you can skip this step.
-
Inform users of the changes and ask them to close and reopen their CCMS Desktop to apply the changes. Additionally, have an
administrator refresh IXIA CCMS Web so that users see the
change reflected there.
