Break the lock on a configuration file
If there is more than one System Administrator in your organization, it's possible that another Admin might have left a file locked after working on it. If you need to make changes, you must first break the other Admin's lock.
About this task
Breaking the lock on a file erases any changes that were in progress. These changes are not recoverable.
Procedure
- In the TEXTML Administration perspective, connect to your server.
- Locate the locked configuration file.
- Right-click the file and select Break Lock.
- On the Delete Confirmation dialog, click Yes.
- Right-click the server name and select Refresh. After a few seconds the small lock icon for the file disappears.
