Synchronize configuration files in CCMS Desktop
To apply the latest configuration changes made to the Content Store, users must synchronize the configuration files.
About this task
Each time a user logs into CCMS Desktop, their local configuration files are synchronized with the master configuration files in the Content Store's repository. However, if an administrator makes changes to the configuration while users are connected to the Content Store, users must either restart their Eclipse client or synchronize their configuration on the fly to work with the most up-to-date settings.
Not all changes can be synchronized on the fly. Some changes, such as changes to the DTDs, require a restart of the Eclipse client. When in doubt, restart the Eclipse client.
