Configuring roles and groups for users in CCMS Web

You edit roles for a user and add or remove a user to groups as part of adding or editing the user.

Adding roles for a user

When adding or editing the user in User Management, add or delete roles for user in the roles section of the user definition:

 <roles>
            <role name="Writer"/>
            <role name="Contributor"/>
            <role name="Reviewer"/>
        </roles>

Adding users to groups

When adding or editing the user in User Management, add or delete groups for user in the groups section of the user definition:

<groups>
            <group name="System Administrators"/>
            <group name="Advanced Users"/>
            <group name="Everyone"/>
        </groups>
