Logs and system information for IXIA TEXTML Server

You should access logs and system information for IXIA TEXTML Server if you encounter system issues and seek to diagnose it for your on-premise deployment.

TEXTML Server logcalls log files

(Disabled by default)

  1. Find and open the TextmlServerCfg.xml file in an editor.
  2. Locate the <LogCalls>False</LogCalls> line.
  3. Modify to <LogCalls>True</LogCalls>.

The resulting logcallsYYYY-MM-DD.txt appears in the TEXTML Server log directory.

TEXTML Server version

To obtain the current version of TEXTML Server in use, choose one of the following actions:
  • Obtain it from the Windows control panel listing of installed programs and their related versions.
  • Obtain it from the administration console properties tab.
