Managing dictionaries

IXIASOFT CCMS provides standard spellchecker dictionaries for your maps and topics.

While you cannot add words to or delete words from the CCMS standard dictionaries, you can create a custom dictionary per language. Use your custom dictionary to define specific terms that are not in the standard dictionaries, such as product names, API function names, or technical terms. The spellchecker accesses both the standard and the custom dictionaries.

You can configure the spellchecker to automatically skip text, such as code, that occurs between specified DITA XML elements.

You can also add additional language or dialect dictionaries within the CCMS.
