Reply to an annotation

Multiple reviewers can discuss something by responding to an annotation.

Any user can reply to an annotation or to another reply. Reviewers can use multiple replies to discuss the content.

However, only the user who added a reply can edit it or delete it, and all replies to an annotation are locked except for the most recent reply.

To reply to an annotation:

  1. Find the annotation in the Annotations side panel, or hover over the highlighted text in the topic.
    As you hover, the Annotations pop-up appears.
  2. In either the Annotations pop-up or Annotations side panel, click Reply icon.
  3. Enter your comments.
  4. Click Save.

Your annotation appears in the Annotations side panel as a reply to previous comments that others have made.
