Create a backup for IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator

The simplest way to back up the IXIASOFT CCMS Output Generator is to copy and store its entire installation folder.

When you installed the CCMS Output Generator, you downloaded and extracted the CCMS Output Generator files to a location on the host computer; for example, in C:\Ixiasoft\OutputGenerators\Prod_x.x or /opt/ixiasoft/OutputGenerators/Prod_4x.x. Once CCMS Output Generator is running as desired, make a copy the following folders and store them with the Content Store backups:

  • bin
  • conf
  • data
  • libs

The following folders only contain temporary files so they do not need to be backed up:

  • logs
  • temp
  • pid
Important: If you are implementing an incremental backup strategy, it must support file deletions in between backups. If you attempt to restore a deleted file, it may cause the CCMS Output Generator to fail to produce the correct output.
