Query elements and samples

This section introduces query elements and samples.

The elements you can use in queries are:

  • Keys: References to the indexes used to perform the search.
  • Operators: Elements that control how search input is handled.
  • Wildcards: Elements that replace characters or strings.
  • Resultspaces: Container objects used to store and manipulate data retrieved by a search. For more on this subject, see the TEXTML Server SDK Programming Guide.

All sample queries are located in:

  • %ProgramFiles%\IxiaSoft\TextmlServer[version]\SDK\Queries
Note: In Microsoft Windows 7, document queries are stored in: c:\Users\username\TextmlAdminWorkspace\TextmlAdmin\servername\docbasedirectory\ Document Queries.
