Review translated content

You can choose to conduct a review of the translated content to ensure the primary components are there and look as you expected.

Note: As of version 7.1, you can create a Collaborative Review or an Approval for source content or translated content. For source content, create the Collaborative Review or Approval from the map. For translated content, create the Collaborative Review or Approval from a language manifest.

Think of a translation review in the Translation cycle as very similar in function to the typical review in the Authoring cycle.

The optional step of a translation review is the last in completing the translation process associated with a specific translation manifest. At this juncture, the icon for every item within a language manifest changes from a circle to a hexagon to indicate it is an actual physical object with a Translation status and not just a virtual placeholder. The remaining iconography remains as it was.

Note: The interface provides a new icon, , for making edits to the translated object.

  2. Search for and open the translation manifest or language manifest that includes the content you want to review. See Search for an object in the Translation cycle.
