Once you generate a localization kit, you must retrieve it before you send it to your
translation agency.
Your localization kit has the same name as the translation manifest and
contains language manifests in the languages you selected during kit generation. You
can access the zip file from My Outputs page.
Go to My Outputs page and
locate the zip file output listed by the name of the translation manifest and
the output type LocalizationKit.
Click to download the localization kit zip file to your local drive.
Localization kit zip files have a specific naming convention
in the following sequence:
Filename of source map
Authoring revision of source map
Timestamp ID
File type extension
Each folder within the zip file contains a specified language
folder, named according to the language code you selected.
The language folder contains several files, such as image
files with a naming convention in the following sequence, along with its sibling
.image file:
Filename of image object
Authoring revision of image object
Language code
Format name, such as LowRes, HiRes, or Source
File type extension
Each language folder inside the zip file contains the map and
topic objects for that language.
