Managing roles and time lines

Note: This can be viewed within a dedicated SaaS deployment, but in a test environment.

You must configure roles and time lines to set up the Todo list and manage document assignments.

The steps to configure roles and time lines are:
  1. Create roles and configure the maximum number of assignees. See Create a role.
  2. Associate roles with document types. See Associate a role with its document types.
  3. Associate roles with time lines. See Associate a role with its time lines.

You can always modify configured roles and time lines to suit the needs of your documentation cycle.

Note: The updates you make to the configuration are applied when users next connect to their respective IXIASOFT CCMS applications. To apply them immediately, advise users to synchronize their configuration. For users of IXIASOFT CCMS Web, an Administrator must perform a server refresh to make updates visible.
