You can fully or partially replace files in an existing IXIA CCMS Output Generator service with files from your backup.
To restore files in IXIA CCMS Output Generator:
-
Stop the CCMS Output Generator service.
-
In the location where the CCMS Output Generator is installed, delete the following
folders:
-
Copy the folders from your backup.
-
Paste the folders into the CCMS Output Generator installation folder.
The logs, temp, and pid folders only contain temporary files so it is not necessary
to replace them; however, they must be present in the installation folder.
-
Review the following files to ensure the settings are still
valid:
- conf/corba.properties
- conf/outputgenerator.xml
- conf/wrapper.conf
- conf/krb5.ini, if
required
- bin/outputgenerator.sh (Linux only)
For more detailed information about these files, see
Installing IXIA Output Generator.
Note: (Windows) The service name on the machine must be the same
as is configured in the wrapper.conf or the service
will not work.
Note: (Linux) The service name and the path to the
outputgenerator.sh file must be the same as the
previous installation or the service will not work. If you do not remember
the path or the service name, please contact MadCap Software customer support.
-
Restart the Output Generator service.
