BIRT example one: incorporate data into report design

When you’ve finished editing your data set, you’ll see it displayed in the Data Explorer view.

In the screenshot below, you can see the new report open in the editor area. Its associated Data Source and Data Set are displayed at the left in the Data Explorer view.

Now you can proceed with binding the data and laying out your report. When you’re finished, this report will produce a chart which you can see in BIRT example one: final output.
