BIRT example one: TEXTML query
The process starts with a TEXTML query.
You could start with a search for all documents, which you’d save as a personal TEXTML query: Author-topics.tql. In the screenshot you can see that query open in the editor area of the workspace.
The screenshot also shows the selections on the right-click menu of the query: one of them is Edit – that’s how you open the query in the editor area. Another selection is Dataset Definition – that’s how you’ll open the dialog where you define the data set for the first time.
