You can use the Spell Checker feature to view all possible spelling
mistakes for objects within a map.
A map may contain a number of potential errors and the results appear in the Spell Checker Results page. See Spell Checker feature.
Note: The list includes each possible spelling error, its type, the
object that contains it, and its textual context. If required, you can select and
copy the error code for pasting into an alternate document, such as an email or
spreadsheet.
To check the spelling for an entire map:
With a map open in Structure orContent view, click .
Note: Since the map contains an unspecified number of
objects, this first step may take some time.
The Spell Checker Results page displays, listing possible spelling
errors. For each of the possible spelling mistakes, you can choose from one of
the three identified actions.
To add words to a permanent ignore list, click and then choose
Add to Ignored Words from the pop-up menu.
To correct the spelling error, click and then, in the resulting dialog,
choose from several options:
Click on one of the suggestion chips or type in your own correction in
the text field.
Select an option to replace that single instance, all instances in the
topic, or replace all instances of that misspelling in all objects in
the map.
Click Replace.
The context around the possible spelling mistake and possible corrective
actions displays.
To ignore the flagged error, click and then choose one of the identified
options from the pop-up menu:
Skip treats the current single instance of the
word as correct
Skip in object treats all instances of that
word in that particular topic as correct choice
Skip in all objects treats all instances of that work in all the
map's topics as correct
Continue to clear the remaining flagged items in the
grid.
