You can use the Spell Checker feature in CCMS Web on a single topic or all the topics within a map.
The spell checker provides you the choice of identifying any issues with spelling and then
ignoring any suggestions for an alternative for a single instance or all instances
of that particular spelling. The spell checker works across all variations of a
supported language, such as British and U.S. English, and then registers any issues
found in the Spell Checker side panel. See Spell Checker feature.
To check the spelling in a topic:
Open a topic.
Optional: Complete any updates to the topic.
Click from the side panel icons to access the Spell Checker side panel.
Optional: Filter the results by selecting one of the following actions:
Expand the Error Code, and then select one or more error text
chips or expand the dropdown list to add one or more codes .
Select Types, and then, optionally, deselect
one or more of the sub-categories: UnknownWord,
Hint, or Other to
further filter the types.
For each identified possible spelling mistake, expand the identified type of
error by clicking in the related error pane.
The context around the possible spelling mistake and possible corrective
actions display.
If you wish to take corrective action, take the following actions:
Click a chip from the listed suggestions or type in your own text in
the Replace with field.
Choose to replace that single instance or to replace all instances of
that misspelling, and then either click on one of the suggestion chips
or type in your own correction in the text field.
Click Replace.
If you want to add a custom word to the ignore list, click and then
choose Add to Ignored Words from the pop-up menu.
If you want to ignore that flagged instance, click and then
choose one of the identified actions from the pop-up menu:
Skip treats the current single instance of the
word as correct.
Skip in object all treats all instances of that
word in that particular topic as correct.
Optional: Continue to clear the remaining flagged items in the side panel.
