  2. In the Roles list, select the role to configure.
The document types assigned to the selected role, if any, are displayed under Document type.
  3. Right-click in the Document type list and select New Type:
  4. Select one of the following document types:
    • Topic to associate this role with topics
    • Map to associate this role with maps
    • Image to associate this role with image creation or editing
    • Resource to associate this role with resources
    • Project to associate this role with documentation projects
  5. To associate any additional roles with related document types, repeat from Step 2.
  6. To save your changes locally, press CTRL+S.
  7. You can now associate roles with time lines. If you do not want to perform this step right away, click check in manager icon Check In Document to commit your changes.
  8. Inform users of the changes and ask them to close and reopen their CCMS Desktop to apply the changes. Additionally, have an administrator refresh IXIA CCMS Web so that users see the change reflected there.
The roles are associated with the document types you specified.
