Search for a ticket

You can use the search feature on the OTRS landing page to quickly find a ticket.

Searches are useful for locating individual tickets or sets of tickets, often before you filter even further.

To search for a ticket:

  1. On the landing page, enter keywords or a ticket number in the search.
  2. Click the search icon.

    The Search Result screen appears.

  3. Optional: To filter the results, do the following:
    1. In the Type section, click on Tickets.
    2. In the Filter section, click on a filter.
    3. To clear a filter, click X beside it.
