Links between topics in a relationship table exist between the topics in
each table cell for a row. However, you can override the default linking between table cells
and topics if required.
For example, you might want many topics in a CTRT relationship table to link to one
general topic, but you do not want that topic to link back to all the other topics. You
could change the linking so that the element links to the topic without linking back to
the parent. To change the links in a relationship table:
- Click in the element that you want to customize.
You can click in a topic to change the linking for that one topic. Or you can
select a table cell to change the linking for the entire table cell.
Alternatively, you can add a <topicgroup>
element and then move topics inside of it. This
allows you to change the linking for the <topicgroup>
and all the topics within it.
- In the Attributes panel, click Add Attribute.
-
From the Attributes dropdown list, select
linking.
- In the Value field, select one of the allowed values.
