View dependencies of an object

Use the Dependencies view to examine the relationships an object has to other objects.

You can open the Dependencies view for an object from anywhere, but the page you are on determines the dependencies you can view:

  • From My Assignments, Search, or Favorites side panel, you can view the dependencies of any object listed there.
  • For pages like Topic Editor or the Collaborative Review, you can only view the dependencies of the object you have open.
  • In Map Editor, you can view the dependencies of the map from the Content view and the dependencies of the objects in it from the Structure view.

To view the dependencies of an object:

  1. Select an object, and then click More Options icon.
  2. Select Dependencies.
    The dependencies for the object load. All the dependencies are sorted first by the type of dependency, such as Referenced by and References, and then by any different types of object or subtypes, such as Map, Topic, and Cloned from.
  3. Click the bubble for each object type to view the objects with that dependency type.
