Edit resource metadata

Each resource in IXIA CCMS Web stores basic resource details as metadata.

You can edit the following resource metadata:

  • Name/title of the resource
  • Type of resource
  • Description

To edit resource metadata:

  1. In Resource Editor, click Edit.
  2. (Optional): To change the name of the resource, click Rename icon and enter a new name.
  3. (Optional): To change the type of resource, select a different type from the Type drop-down list.
  4. (Optional): To change the description for the resource, click in the Description field and enter or edit the text.
    Note: This is a description of the resource object. It does not appear in the output.
  5. (Optional): To change the description for one of the files, click Edit icon and enter the description.
  6. Click Check in.
    The edits to the metadata are saved.
