You can manage comments while editing an object in any
editor.
To manage comments, you must be in an editor, such as
Map Editor and
Topic Editor. You must also work with a topic that already contains
comments.
Note: When you manage comments, there are three
different options available to you:
- Use comment-related icons on the Oxygen Web Author toolbar
- Access inline wherever there is a highlighted area
- Use the Review panel
-
Select the appropriate editor, based on your current work task.
-
Take an available action, based on the action type and your
area of selection:
Action | Steps |

View a comment |
- On the Oxygen Web Author toolbar, click or on the toolbar to
scroll back or forward, respectively, through all comments.
- In the Main Editing area, hover over the comment and
read the comment pop-up.
- Access the Review panel, then either scroll to view
all comments, or use the filter to locate specific ones.
Note: When you click on a
comment in the Review panel, an arrow connects the

area.

you click on a phrase with multiple comments, a dialog

(Optional) Tag another user in a comment to direct a question
or comment to that the specified person by entering the @ symbol and then the
user's name exactly as it appears for the user in CCMS Web, including spaces and capitalization, such as
Walter Write.
You can see when you have been
mentioned or tagged, since you user's name is highlighted in orange and an @
symbol appears next to the Review icon () in the Review
panel.
