You can quickly copy a map to another Branch by creating a new instance of it. The new instance
reuses all the same content as the original except where new instances of submaps need to be
created as well.
Note: You cannot create a new instance of a map in Branches where an instance of the map already exists.
To create a new instance of a map:

For the map you want to copy, click .

Select Create New Instance.
The Create New Instance dialog
appears. It shows all the Branches in which you can create the new instance of
the map.

Select the Branch that you want to create the new instance
in.
If you want to create a new Branch for the new instance, do the
following:

Click Create new Branch.

Enter a title for the new Branch.

Add a description.
This description of the branch will appear in menus where the Branch is
listed. For example, it appears in the
Create New Instance dialog.
Note: If you
select another Branch, the title and description for the new Branch
are cleared. The information for the new Branch is not
saved.

Click Create.
The new instance of the map is created in the new or existing
Branch, and it opens in Map View.

Branch, and it opens in Map Editor.
