If you want to use conditional profiling attributes in
a map, you can use a ditaval to tell IXIASOFT CCMS Web
which conditions to apply when generating an output.
A ditaval is a set of rules that specify which values for
conditional profiling attributes CCMS Web
must include or exclude when generating an output.
Once the ditaval is created, you can then configure the rules for
handling conditional profiling attributes in it,
To create a ditaval:
- Click , and select New Ditaval.
A New Ditaval page opens.
-
In the Title field,
enter a descriptive name for the new ditaval and click Next.
-
From the drop-down list, select a language and click Next.
- (Optional):
Enter a description of the ditaval.
The description will appear in the Search dialog when you are generating an
output.
-
Select a Product or Library.
You can use the Search to find the correct one.
-
Click Next.
-

Note: You can only select one Branch.

The ditaval is created and opens in
Ditaval Editor.
You must configure the ditaval before you
can apply it to a map.
