Dedicated SaaS deployment of IXIASOFT CCMS Web

In a dedicated SaaS deployment of IXIASOFT CCMS, IXIASOFT CCMS Web can be deployed either with or without Single Sign-On (SSO). These affect how you log in.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If Single Sign-On (SSO) is implemented, logging into your company's identity provider automatically logs you in to CCMS Web.

When you go to the URL for CCMS Web, one of the following occurs:

  • If you are already logged in to your company's identity provider, you automatically log in to CCMS Web and see the My Assignments page.
  • If you are not logged in to your company's identity provider, you can click a button that enables you to log in to CCMS Web using your company's identity provider.

Credentials for CCMS Web are managed by your company's identity provider. For any user who also uses CCMS Desktop, that user will have two passwords:

  • One for CCMS Desktop
  • One for CCMS Web

Without Single Sign-On (SSO)

Without SSO, when you go to the URL for CCMS Web, you log in using your IXIASOFT-specific password.

Without SSO, all credentials for CCMS Web and CCMS Desktop are managed by IXIASOFT in remote desktop.
