Select element

This procedure lets you select the entire XML element where you have placed your cursor – including all of its text and tags.

1. Open your topic in the XMetaL editor.
2. Place your cursor in the XML element you want to select.
3. Then, ether:
   • Press CTRL+ALT+L.
   • Right-click and select Select Element.
   • From the menu bar, click XML Document > Select Element.

The element's text and its tags are selected.
