Configure which element to use for taxonomy terms

The taxonomySettings.xml file in the system configuration enables you to determine which prolog metadata element (<category> or <keyword>) you want to use when inserting taxonomy terms from the Taxonomy view.

When you add taxonomy terms to a topic or map using the Taxonomy view, the CCMS adds these terms using the <category> element within the prolog, similar to the following example:

<prolog>
   <metadata>
      <category>crosstrek
         <data datatype="ixia-taxonomy-term" id="tax1394562176041:tnd1406743949405:tnd1406744125444" value="Autos/SUV/Crosstrek"/>
      </category>
      <category>suv
         <data datatype="ixia-taxonomy-term" id="tax1394562176041:tnd1406743949405" value="Autos/SUV"/>
      </category>

   </metadata>
</prolog>

If you use a dynamic publishing system that requires the <keyword> element rather than <category>, or if you simply prefer to use <keyword>, you can easily make this change.
