Start the Scheduler service on Linux

This procedure describes how to start the Scheduler service on Linux.

To start the service:

  1. Start TEXTML Server.
  2. Open a command-line interface to the Linux server.
  3. Start the Scheduler service: 
    /sbin/service scheduler start
  4. Check for successful startup: 
    [root@writix bin]# cd -
/etc/init.d
[root@writix init.d]# ./scheduler console
