Fork a ditaval
Ditavals can be in more than one branch. If you need to edit a ditaval that is in more than one branch, you must fork it.
About this task
You only need to pick a branch and fork it in the following scenarios:
- You are editing a branch outside of Map Editor
- The branch is not assigned to you
To fork and edit a ditaval:

A new instance of the ditaval is created in the branch you selected. Any changes you make will appear in that ditaval for only that branch.
