How can I fix an unstable IXIA CCMS Desktop workspace?

The CCMS Desktop repeatedly becomes unresponsive or the plugins stop working reliably. Documents that you work on are stored in your workspace which can grow over time and cause performance issues.

Solution

You can try the following procedures one at a time and test in between each one to check if the problem is resolved:

Method Procedure

Clear your cache

  1. Click Window > Preferences.
  2. Expand IXIASOFT CCMS.
  3. Click General Behavior.
  4. Click Clear Memory Cache.
  5. Click OK.

Clear your workspace

  1. Click Window > Preferences.
  2. Expand IXIASOFT CCMS.
  3. Click General Behavior.
  4. Click Clear Workspace.
  5. Click OK.
