Reorganize map objects in Structure view

You can reorganize objects within the map hierarchy in Structure view.

1. Find the object in the map that you want to move.
2. In the Map Edit column, click .
3. Choose one of the following actions:
   • To move the object up, click .
   • To move the object down, click .
   • To promote the object to a higher level in the hierarchy, click .
   • To demote the object to a lower level in the hierarchy, click .
   • To cut the object to remove or as the first step in a cut-and-paste action, click
   • To paste the object as the second step in a cut-and-paste action, click on an object directly above or below the desired location for the paste, and then select one of the three resulting options: above, below, or inside as a lower level in the hierarchy.
