Add a relationship table to a map

Add relationship tables to a map to create links between topics.

Before you begin

The map must be locked and open in Content view.

About this task

IXIA CCMS Web lets you insert a preconfigured relationship table. The table can either be a CTRT or source-target relationship table. You can have as many relationship tables as you want in a single map.

Note: The configuration of the preconfigured tables might be different in your deployment of CCMS Web. An Administrator can create new templates or change the default configuration. For more information, see Administration Guide for IXIA CCMS.

To add a relationship table to a map:

Procedure

  1. In Map Editor, click the location in the map where you want to insert the new relationship table.
Note: If the location of the cursor is not a valid location for a relationship table, the new relationship table is automatically added at the end of the map. It is added after all the topics but before any existing relationship tables.
  2. Click Relationship Table icon.
  3. Select one of the preconfigured tables to insert.
By default, you have two options:
    • Insert Relationship Table Source-Target
    • Insert Relationship Table CTRT

Results

A new table of the selected type is added to the map.
