You can use CCMS Desktop to point to the Development
Environment CCMS Output Generator.
Drive Z or outgen is where you and your developers modify CCMS Output Generator files, which enables you to test and iterate
as many times as required before you commit your changes.
To point to CCMS Output Generator:
Open CCMS Desktop.
On the Global Actions toolbar, click .
Note: The button color is green if you are connected or
red if you are disconnected.
The Preferences dialog displays with the CMS configuration.
Note: In the figure, xxxx is in place of your
company name as part of the domain.
Locate the Output Generator section of CMS configuration, and in the
Hostname field, set the domain.
app-dev-og.domain
Where:
domain is your IXIA CCMS domain, typically
your-company-name-ccms.ixiasoft.net
Tip: Your CCMS Desktop client
prepopulates the Hostname field, pointing to
app-test-xxxx-ccms.ixiasoft.net. You can
double-click in the field on test, and then replace it
with dev-og so that it points to your Dev CCMS Output Generator.
Click Apply and Close.
The hostname is set and CCMS Desktop points to CCMS Output Generator.
