Development with OGAT

Output Generator Access Tool (OGAT) uses two distinct drives on the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) server that you can access from Windows Explorer.

Figure: OGAT default drives
OG Access Tool drives
  • Drive Y hosts the ogtools folder, which contains the batch file scripts that:

    • Manage interactions among components as you get, tag, commit, and update files

    • Manage interactions with the CCMS Output Generator repository and the services in both Development and Test environments

  • Drive Z hosts the outgen folder and is the Development Environment for only CCMS Output Generator, which contains a complete copy of all CCMS Output Generator folders
Note: Technically, the files are stored in SVN on a Linux server and are therefore Linux compatible, but you and any other identified developers work in a Windows environment.
