Meet usage requirements

Before you obtain Output Generator Access Tool (OGAT), MadCap Software requires complete adherence to the identified usage requirements.

1. Review OGAT third-party licensing requirements and make sure your company is in agreement and can meet them.
2. Review OGAT development practices.
   Note: If you plan to involve multiple developers in using OGAT, confirm all involved developers can adhere to the usage requirements.
3. Contact your MadCap Software Customer Success Manager and request OGAT after providing an email that identifies each involved developer.
   Note: Each developer is added to an Active Directory user group: the Output Generator Group. This group is independent of groups used by CCMS.
4. Notify any other developers and then monitor communications from MadCap Software related to the OGAT installation.
5. Coordinate with a DITA specialist to schedule a training session for your developers.
