You can simultaneously assign multiple objects to a group of users.
Changing the assignment of multiple objects simultaneously requires the use of a
bulk action. To modify an assignment for multiple
objects:

For the objects that you want to assign, click the checkbox
beside its title.
The
Bulk Actions basket appears as a ribbon that dynamically
tallies the total number of objects you select.
Note: You can
have different types of objects in the Bulk Actions basket at the same time.

From the Action dropdown list, select Assign to.

From the Role dropdown list, select the role for the
users that you want to assign.
The ribbon updates to include the objects you can assign for the role you
selected.
- Optional:
To see a list of the objects, expand the ribbon to see the full Bulk Actions basket. The State column
indicates if the action you chose is possible on the related object.
- indicates the CCMS can process the
object
- indicates the CCMS cannot process the
object, so skips it

Click Continue.
The Bulk Assign to dialog
appears.

If there are existing assignments, choose one of the following actions:
- Replace any existing assignments for the role with the new
assignment
- Leave all existing assignments for the role unchanged
Note: Some objects might already have users assigned to
them with this role. The Bulk Assign to dialog shows
the number of objects with existing assignments.

Create the new assignment by setting the following:

From the Users dropdown list, select the users you want to add.
Tip: You can type in a name to search for a
user. If there are more than 250 users, some users might only appear in the
list when you search for them.

(Optional) In the Comment field, add a comment for assigned users to

Set the assignment context map |
(Optional) From the Assignment Context Map dropdown
list, select the context map you want to use for the assignment. Note: If any of the objects in your Bulk Actions basket are not in the context map that
you select, then those object are not assigned during the bulk
action. The software indicates if any objects cannot be assigned
with the context map. |
Set a due date |
(Optional) Either enter a date in yyyy/mm/dd format or click to select one. |
Set the assignment rules |
Select the assignment rule you want

Click Assign to.
The objects are assigned, and the ribbon turns
green.Note: You can click New Action to perform another action on the same set of
objects.
If any objects failed to be assigned, the ribbon
turns red.
