Set a value for an element attribute

You set the values of attributes for elements. You can modify element attributes to provide metadata, modify the element, or set conditional profiling attributes.

You must check out the map or topic first and have it ready for edit.

Note: You can limit the values that users can pick for an attribute to a preset list by adding a subject scheme map. For more information on creating a subject scheme map, see IXIA CCMS Desktop User Guide.
