Reconfigure a connection to a Content Store

Use this procedure to connect to more than one Content Store or server, or when you have more than one user account.

You need access rights and a password for each server/Content Store identified for connection.

This procedure works only if you have access to more than one server or Content Store, or if you have more than one user account with different sets of privileges.

To reconfigure a connection to a Content Store:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • From the menu bar, click IXIA CCMS > Reconnect...
    • On the Global Actions toolbar, click the Connection Information button Connection information icon green.
      Note: This button's color varies with connection status. it may be red if you are not connected.
    The Preferences dialog opens at the CMS Configuration pane.
  2. Enter connection information. Ask your system administrator if you're not sure what is needed.
  3. Click Apply.
    A Progress Information dialog appears while the connection is carried out.
    A Login dialog appears when the connection is completed.
  4. Click OK to close the Login dialog.
  5. Click OK to close the Preferences dialog.
Your access information is saved for the next time you sign in.
