Configure import and export directories

You can specify default directories for frequently performed import and export operations.

The Import Export options let you configure the source and target directories for your most frequently performed file operations such as importing images and exporting files for localization.

For Export directories, you can enable Auto-Save, which means that the related directory is always used and the Save dialog does not appear to allow users to specify an export directory. Instead, users see an information dialog to notify them of the directory location.

To configure import and export directories:

  1. From the Window menu, select Preferences....
    The Preferences dialog opens.
  2. Select IXIA CCMS > Import Export.
  3. In the resulting Import Export pane, click the Browse... button next to the directory field to configure.
    The Browse For Folder dialog appears.
  4. Browse to the required folder and create a new folder, if needed.
  5. Click OK.
    The path to the selected folder appears in the directory field.
  6. Select Auto-save.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click OK.
The specified directories will be used for future import and export operations.
