Import a localized map or topic

After the translation team has sent back the translated files, you must import them back into IXIA CCMS Desktop.

The localized files must be located on your hard drive and unzipped.

To save additional work, import your localized images first.

When you import images, they are automatically given the status Localization:review or its equivalent. If you import the localized maps or topics after, CCMS Desktop automatically sets the status of these files to Localization:review and Localization:translated or equivalents.

If you import the maps and topics first, CCMS Desktop keeps those that reference images at the Localization:in translation status or its equivalent. You will have to change each status manually.

To import a localized map or topic:

  1. Choose one of the following actions:
    • On the Localization toolbar, click the Import Localized Content button ().
    • From the menu bar, select IXIA CCMS > Import Localized Content.
The Import Localization Package dialog displays.
  2. Choose one of the following actions:

Tip: You can configure a default folder that the Import Localization Package dialog opens automatically.

The Import Localization Package dialog displays, listing the localized files.

  3. Click Import.

The files are imported into CCMS Desktop and given the status Localization:review or its equivalent.

You can now review the localized files and complete the localization process by either approving them or returning them to localization.
