Using a reverse proxy

Before you complete an installation, you must decide whether to use a reverse proxy, since you should configure the web installer properties before running the installer.

1. Review the factors relating to when a reverse proxy setup is recommended. See Reverse proxy considerations.
2. If a reverse proxy setup is necessary, set up the reverse proxy before continuing with the installation. See (Optional) Setting up a reverse proxy.
