Adding labels to objects

Labels let you apply additional information to any object in the repository.

You can apply labels to any type of object.

Labels are indexed by the CMS; you can see the labels applied to a specific object when the Labels column is displayed in the DITA Map view or Search Results. If a object has been assigned more than one label then the different labels will all appear, separated by semicolons.

You can search for specific labels using the Advanced Search.
