Viewing maps

When you open a map without checking it out, it opens in Map Editor in read-only mode. Map Editor displays the contents of the map as a list of titles so that you can see the structure of the map.

Views in Map Editor

In Map Editor, there are two different ways to view a map:

  • Structure view: This view shows only topic titles, so you can use this view to quickly see the structure of a map. It is similar to viewing the table of contents for a map.
  • Content view: This view shows the content of each topic in the map, so you can quickly read through all the content in a map.
