Search using the Advanced Search
You can use the Advanced Search to apply different filters to your search and get better results.
To use the Advanced Search:
- In the Search field in the Navigation bar, enter keywords, an ID, or filename you want to search for.
You can also use operators in the Search field. For more information on them, see Operators and wildcards for search.
- (Optional):
If you want to restrict your search for keywords, select where
to search for keywords from the Search in drop-down list.
You can use this to limit the search to keywords in places like titles or filenames.
- Click .
The Advanced Search side panel opens with the keywords and selections you made.
- (Optional):
Expand and apply filters to narrow your search.
You can apply any combination of the following filters:
- Object Types: Use it to find only specific types of objects.
- Context: Use it to search within the context map.
You can also search within specific Products/Libraries and Branches, and you can save the context settings as a default for future searches.
- Status: Use it to find objects with specific statuses.
- Checked out by: Use it to find objects checked out by you, specific users, or no one.
- Last modified by: Use it to find objects last modified by a specific user.
- Last modification date: Use it to find objects modified before, after, or between specific dates.
- Assignments: Use it to find objects assigned to or assigned by specific users.

Click Search.
The search results appear. More results load on the page as you scroll down. The filters you applied are shown in chips at the top of the page.
- (Optional):
To sort the search results, from the Sort by drop-down list, select what you want to sort by.
You can sort by the following:
- Last modified by
- Relevance
- Title
