Obtaining browser messages
If IXIASOFT Customer Support asks for browser messages to help troubleshoot issues with IXIASOFT CCMS Web, you can gather messages that your browser generates as you repeat the action that triggered the issue.

Open the error logging mechanism in your browser:
- In Google Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+J (Windows / Linux) or Cmd+Opt+J (Mac).
- In Microsoft Edge on Windows, press F12 and click the Console tab.
- In Safari on macOS, choose Show Develop menu in menu bar. Then choose . and select
- In Firefox on Windows, click .
- For other browsers, search the internet for your browser name, your operating system, and the terms browser error web console.
- Repeat the action that triggered the issue you experienced with CCMS Web.

Create a text file of the messages that are displayed in the
error console.
- In Google Chrome, right-click in the Console and select Save as to save the output of the console to a log file.
- In Microsoft Edge on Windows, select the messages with your mouse and right-click the selection and click Copy . Then use a text editor such as Notepad to create a new text file, paste in the messages, and save the file.
- In Safari, press CMD+S and save the console messages as Console.txt.
- In Firefox on Windows, right-click in the Web Console and click Select all. Right-click again, and select Copy message. Then use a text editor such as Notepad to create a new text file, paste in the messages, and save the file.
- For other browsers, search the internet for your browser name, your operating system, and the terms browser error web console.
- If your browser has a Network tab, save the messages from that tab.
- Send the text files to IXIASOFT Customer Support.
