Reinstall IXIASOFT CCMS Web as a new instance

If the entire IXIASOFT CCMS Web instance needs to be reinstalled, you can use your backup files to facilitate the process.

If you have stored a copy of the installation package of the version you had installed with your backup, you can use it to reinstall the component. It is recommended that the installation package matches the version and build number of your deployment. If you do not have a copy of the original installation package, then you can download a new version from the web site. Once you have the installation package, you can use your backup files as you follow the installation and configuration instructions in Installing IXIASOFT CCMS Web.

To reinstall:

  1. Follow the installation instructions from the Installing IXIASOFT CCMS Web from the appropriate version.
  2. Use the backup copy of the properties.txt file as a guide. Either replace the file as needed or compare the file in the installation to your backup file and edit as required.
