Delay start of IXIASOFT CCMS services on Windows

IXIASOFT CCMS components (such as TEXTML Server, CCMS Output Generator, and CCMS Scheduler) run as a service on the server where they were installed. If you need to improve the boot time for the server, you can delay the automatic start of these IXIASOFT CCMS components.

Note: This applies only to Windows.

To set a service to delayed start:

  1. On the server where the service is installed, click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools.
  2. Double-click Services.
    The Services dialog opens.
  3. Double-click the name of the service in the list of services.
  4. From the Startup type drop-down list, select Automatic (Delayed Start).
  5. Click Apply.

    The Startup Type column changes to Automatic (Delayed Start) for the service.

  6. Click Ok.
