Update the version in the configuration

After you have updated to a new build or version, you should change the build number in the textmlservercfg.properties file to reflect the current version number.

1. In the /system/conf folder, check out and open the textmlservercfg.properties file.
2. Set the value of ixia.cms.version to the build of the IXIASOFT CCMS that you are installing.
   For example:

   ixia.cms.version=6.2.XXX 

   Where xxx is the build number.

3. Save, close, and check in the file.
4. If you are only updating a build, inform users of the changes and request that they close and reopen their CCMS Desktop to apply the changes.
   If you are upgrading to a new version of CCMS, you need to deploy upgraded versions of CCMS Desktop before informing users.
